The Speech at the Opening Ceremony of “Spotlight on Chinese Ink Painting • Chinese Calligraphy Art of Oracle Bone Inscriptions”

尊敬的各位来宾，女士们，先生们：

大家好！

Distinguished guests, ladies and gentleman, Good Morning!

在各方朋友的大力支持下，“水墨聚焦·中国甲骨文书法艺术展”在今天隆重开幕了。首先我谨代表中国春来教育集团及安阳学院对各位嘉宾的到来致以崇高的敬意和诚挚的问候！

With the strong support of friends from all sides, we finally havethis exhibition grandly opened today. On behalf of China Chunlai EducationGroup and Anyang University, I would like to extend my sincere respect andgreetings to all of you.

中国春来教育集团成立于2004年，于今年9月13日在中国香港成功上市。目前，集团旗下拥有安阳学院等五所高校：其中四所在中国，一所在美国。

China Chunlai Education Group was founded in 2004 and successfullylisted in Hong Kong, China on September 13. It currently has, including AnyangUniversity, five universities: four in China and one in the United States.

安阳学院坐落于甲骨文故乡、中国八大古都之一的安阳。基于学校所在地得天独厚的殷商文化资源，为强化特色办学与内涵发展，2017年12月，成立了“安阳学院甲骨文艺术研究中心”，并不断创作出符合时代要求、极具审美价值的甲骨文书法作品。

Anyang University is located in Anyang City, which is the hometownof Oracle Bone Inscriptions and one of the eight ancient capitals of China.Based on the unique and advantageous resourcesof Yin Shang culture of Anyang City, where the school is located, “Oracle ArtResearch Center of Anyang University” was established inDecember 2017 in order to strengthen thecharacteristics and improve the connotation development of the university. Ithas been constantly creating Oracle calligraphy works that meet therequirements of the times and havegreat aesthetic value.

习近平主席曾指出：“殷墟甲骨文距离现在3000多年，3000多年来，汉字结构没有变，这种传承是真正的中华基因。”

President Xi Jinping once pointed out that, “Oracle BoneInscriptions of Shang dynasty has a history of 3000 years, which is the originof Chinese characters. And for the past 3,000 years,  the formation of Chinese characters hasremained unchanged, which represents the very essence of Chinese culture.”

今天，安阳学院在此举办此次展览，其旨在推进世界各国人民对中国甲骨文字及其艺术存在的认知与交流，力求让全世界人民都能够共享这一文化宝藏。

Today, Anyang University holds the exhibition here, which aims topromote the understanding of Chinese Oracle Bone Inscriptions and theirartistic existence worldwide as well as improve communication between peoplefrom the whole world.
